Age:10-12 years old
Location:UK – Humberside

Milah is currently in foster and is looking for an adult only home due to previous bite history. She is currently in foster and doing well.

🐾Adopting or fostering a rescue dog isn’t something to take on lightly, they need full commitment and a lot work and patience to allow them to blossom.

Milah’s foster says that she is good with other dogs when out walking and shows no signs of reactivity. She does not like to be left with overly excitable dogs. She could live with or without another calm dog in her new home.

Milah currently lives with cats and shows no aggression towards them. Please remember she will need time and patience to settle and any introductions must be slow, sensible and supervised.

She likes her walks, sleeping, watching people out the window and a stroke and cuddle. Please take into consideration that Milah will need time to adjust in her new environment and may take some time to settle.

Milah happily wears a collar, harness and double lead when going outside. Milah is not crate trained and is scared of crates. She sleeps well through the night on her bed and is toilet trained.

Previously, she has tried to escape through windows as she enjoys being outside. Milah doesn’t like fast movements or to be left alone for too long. She is looking for somebody who is at home most of the day. She does have rope burns on her back, sun cream needs to be applied in the hot weather to prevent her skin from burning. She also has a wart at the base of her tail that occasionally bleeds, this doesn’t bother her at all.

Due to her age, the vets do not want to remove the wart under anaesthetic. Her foster says that she likes to wear a jumper as she feels safer with it on.

Do you have a quiet and understanding home for Milah? ❤️
