AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER
Adopting or fostering a rescue dog isn’t something to take on lightly, they need full commitment and a lot of work and patience to allow them to blossom.
Malachi was adopted but due to nipping children he has been surrendered back to us. He is waiting in kennels for another chance.
For this reason Malachi needs an adult only home.
Malachi can be a bit wary around strangers. He likes to give hand kisses when he wants a fuss.
Malachi is not food aggressive and happily fed around two other dogs.
He loves a fuss and doesn’t like you to stop so will give you kisses to carry on.
He is still a bit nervous of the lead and will freeze if he feels any tugging on his neck so he will need some encouragement in this area.
Malachi is quite jumpy and nervous, but this is due to the fact he is deaf.
Malachi will need a home with another dog as he looks to other dogs for confidence and reassurance as he is unable to hear.
He showed no interest in the resident cat.
Malachi has been left for periods of up to 3 hours with no problems, he also sleeps all night but would bark for reassurance at first.
We always advise sensible and supervised introductions with other pets and family members 🐈
