Meet Wilma, “Wilma is a very loving and intelligent girl who absolutely loves human affection and attention from her favourite people, she is very gentle and makes a lovely family companion. Wilma does love being brushed however she isn't a a fan of people or dogs going near her bum or tail, she will let her owner brush it for a minute before she runs away, she does however do well at the groomers. Wilma is a very playful girl and loves her toys. Her favourites are squeaky balls and teddies but she will destroy her teddies in minutes. She is also very clever and knows lots of commands such as a sit, stay, paw, up, down, bed and nudge. She will anything for some treats” 💞
Wilma can be nervous of new people visiting the home. Her family have all visitors enter and sit down so she can come over and say hello. Once she has settled and learnt to trust a person she will love them forever 🏡
Wilma accepts a collar, harness and lead. She walks well on the lead however can pull when overexcited. She can be unpredictable with other dogs, people and bikes, she can pass these daily with no issues however sometimes can be reactive 🐕🦺
Wilma currently lives with a 7 year old child who she has grown up with and has always been amazing with, she has also been around children of all ages including babies and copes very well with them however she can sometimes be unaware of her size and can be bouncy if she is over excited. Wilma can live with children 8+ with slow and sensible introductions due to her nervous nature but we can consider younger children with successful meets 👦
Wilma has been around other dogs and can be selective with the dogs she likes. She prefers males and will often choose to play with more submissive dogs. Wilma is very dominant with other dogs however she will often happily play with them. Wilma can therefore share her home with other dogs following successful meets 🐾
Wilma will need a cat free home 🐈
Wilma is toilet trained but is not crate trained. She is currently left alone for up to 6 hours daily and copes well with this. Wilma currently lives in a flat and can be reactive to outside noises of people leaving or entering the flat. For this reason she would need to live in a quieter area. Wilma can also be reactive to people knocking on the door.
Wilma sleeps well overnight and travels well in the car 💞
