Maple is a pretty lady, she could live with older, calm dog savvy children. She is fine with visitors coming into the home, if she is ever unsure she will take herself to her bed away from others. She will need patience and understanding as she is still learning. She enjoys her soft toys and is quite playful, she also seeks out her fosterer for cuddles. She is a quick learner and is taking in all her new experiences. Maple is roughly the size of a small fox.
Maple can wear a collar, harness and lead. She really enjoys her walks, she has 2- 3 per day. She loves to sniff when she is out. She can sometimes find lorries and groups of noisy people scary but is improving every day. She is growing in confidence and allowing some strangers to give her treats now. With the right introductions she is blossoming. Her recall is good when she is on a long lead.
Maple could live with bigger dogs with slow and sensible introductions.
Maple is okay around cats with careful introductions, she will ignore them once she has met them.
Maple is toilet trained but please be aware this could change when moving homes.
Maple can be left for up to 4 hours without issue. She sleeps well overnight and has travelled well in the car for short journeys.
Maple is not spayed and this will need to be arranged with her new family. The cost will be covered by Pawprints.
