Lexi is looking for an adult only experienced home. She loves a fuss from her humans once she gets to know you. She can be reactive to people going past her home. Lexi will need an understanding home with patience and lots of love. She likes to play with people she knows, she enjoys her toys. Lexi would be best in a home with a garden, she reacts to noise of people in the flats around her current foster home.
Lexi can wear a collar, lead and harness. She walks well on a lead, she will sometimes pull but is getting better. She can be reactive to cats if she sees one on her walks.
Lexi is friendly with dogs she meets on her walks. She could potentially live with another dog with slow and sensible introductions.
Lexi is toilet trained but likes to do her business in her own garden rather than when she is out on a walk.
Lexi can be left alone for up to four hours, if she is left too long she will destroy her toys.
Lexi cannot be rehomed with cats.
Lexi travels well in the car, she prefers to sit in the back seat rather than the boot.
Lexi has not been neutered yet. The cost of this will be covered by the rescue.
Fostering or adopting a rescue is not something to take on lightly. There may be challenges along the way, and full commitment is needed to overcome these.
