Gypsy is a beautiful collie type doggy who is full of energy, very puppy like and also a little stubborn. ❤

She is looking for a home to continue working on boundaries and teaching her manners.

Gypsy has a bite history that was due to previous guarding behaviours and issues. Whilst there haven’t been any further instances of this, we would like to make potential adopters to be aware so they can prevent any reoccurrence.

Gypsy will need a child free home. She has been around young children and has been fine. However, we are looking for a child free home due to her previous behaviours and because she can be quite boisterous and rough when playing.

Gypsy currently lives with other dogs and needs to be rehomed with with another dog. In true collie nature she can be very playful, excitable and boisterous, so would suit a home with a dog of similar energy level and playfulness 🐾🐕

Gypsy’s reactivity to cats has dramatically reduced. However, we would advise that it is sensible to rehome Gypsy in a cat free home. 🐈

Gypsy walks well double leaded on her collar and harness. She will sit and wait for her walks. She is fine when meeting other dogs on walks. She can get excited and leap around when she sees one. If they run up to her she can be a bit growly, but will look to her foster for reassurance.

Gypsy has been food aggressive (especially with meat), however this has been worked on and she now eats supervised, with two of the resident dogs with no issues, and will sit and wait until given permission to start. 🐾

Gypsy is completely toilet trained and crate trained. She is perfect overnight and sleeps through. She can be left for a few hours and is not destructive.

Although not destructive when left, Gypsy will take cushions, games and socks off shelves and have a good old play with them which sometimes can lead to them being destroyed.

Gypsy sometimes growls but in a non aggressive sort of way. For instance, she will growl if you wake her up but immediately rolls over for tummy rubs.

She brings a lot of love, loyalty and joy to all her foster family and she would love to settle down and be someone’s special companion. Her fosterer will be sad to see her go.💖

Gypsy will need her training to continue her progress step by step. She has had no issues in her current foster home and this is because they have worked on one thing at a time, so as to not overwhelm her. Her new home will need to continue this slow and steady approach with her in order to help her blossom.

Do you have room in your home and heart to offer gorgeous gypsy a forever home? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We always advise sensible and supervised introductions with children and other pets 🐈
